Acting CISO, US DOT/Federal Aviation Administration
Larry Grossman serves as the Acting Chief Information Security Officer, and the Acting Director of the Information Security and Privacy Service within the Office of Information and Technology, at the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In this executive leadership role since April 2019, Mr. Grossman is responsible for the FAA's information security and privacy including the 24x7x365 Security Operations Center, Cybersecurity Compliance programs, and Governance initiatives and exercises. He spearheads the evolution of FAA's cybersecurity strategy and works collaboratively to improve cybersecurity initiatives throughout the Federal Aviation Administration and across the Aviation Ecosystem.
An avid aviation enthusiast, Mr. Grossman holds commercial pilot and flight instructor certificates in both land and sea, and travels in his own aircraft whenever possible.
