
Head of unit lawful interception development, Central Office for Information Technology in the Security Sector
Jörg Lenhardt started his career at the Bavarian State Police in 1999. After police training and some years in investigations, he joined the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) and was responsible for software development and cybercrime investigations.
He left the police after 13 years of service and became a research assistant at the University of Hagen.
In 2016, he received his PhD in Computer Architecture and was in charge of a research and teaching division, thereafter.
In 2019, he left the university and returned into the Security Sector joining the Central Office of Information Technology in the Security Sector (ZITiS). Currently, he serves as Head of Unit of the Lawful Interception Development department.
