Zohar Rozenberg (Col. Ret.) is VP Cyber Investments at Elron Electronic Industries (TASE: ELRN), Elron , a leading Israeli holding company , invests in early stage medical technology , cyber security and software start-ups. Zohar serves , as Board Member of several companies and a member at R.D.C , Rafael Advanced Defence System’s commercialization arm , in a full partnership with Elron Electronic Industries (TASE: ELRN).
Zohar retired as colonel from IDF’s prestigious 8200 unit after 20 of service. During his tenure at 8200, Zohar led high-risk, high-innovation organizations and projects. Zohar has vast experience cultivating new technological initiatives and leading brilliant and skilled personnel.
Zohar was involved in founding the National cyber bureau and the formalization of the Israeli national cyber strategy. Zohar’s last role in IDF was Head of I.D.F's Cyber Department.
Amongst other achievements, Zohar was responsible for developing nationwide cyber educational programs and working with the Israeli office of education and philanthropy organizations to position Israel as a global leader in cyber technology.
Zohar holds a B.S. in Electric and Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A. from Tel Aviv University.
